~Support Shane Steele End of Life Care~

Sadly and suddenly, a recent diagnosis of stage 4 lung cancer has been the diagnosis for our good friend and family member Shane Steele. He is in the palliative care unit at the hospital fighting for his life. Doctors told Shane it has spread to his spine and other parts of his body. He also developed pneumonia caused by a bacterial infection. Prognosis is uncertain but he is grateful that every day is a blessing.

We are all devastated by the news and would like very much to help our friend in his final days, end-of-life care, and funeral expenses. We all want Shane to be as comfortable as possible now and later until his last breath.

Shane is a fighter but struggles physically every minute of every day.

Thank God he has the love of his life by his side to help comfort him in doing whatever she can to help. Antonette has been there for him in the hospital since day one. They are teenage sweethearts and have been together fighting this battle alone together. Antonette has been torn between going to work at her job or staying with the love of her life helping to care for him. She chooses to stay by Shane’s side, constantly supporting and caring for the man she loves.
