Shane, my son-in-law, was diagnosed in September of last year with a genetic heart condition—a bicuspid valve. This condition has led to complications in other areas of his heart, specifically an ascending aortic aneurysm, and now he will be undergoing surgery in Ann Arbor on Feb. 19th. The news has been overwhelming for our family, and the journey ahead is filled with uncertainty and concern for Shane’s health and well-being.
As Shane prepares for surgery, the financial strain is becoming more apparent. The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward covering his medical bills, travel expenses for appointments and procedures, and the income lost from missed work. Most importantly, your support will help provide stability for Shane’s family as they navigate his recovery and the challenges that come with it.
Any help given to Shane and his family is dearly appreciated. Your generosity will offer them some peace of mind during this difficult time. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts and theirs for standing with Shane and our family.
