My name is Erin, Shane Anderson's sister. On October 2nd, Shane sustained a life-altering injury to his hand while using a table saw on a home project. He has already undergone 2 major surgeries. His surgical team is trying everything they can to save as much hand function as possible. He has a very long road ahead of him... more surgeries, a lot of extensive therapy, and a lot of painful recovery time. It'll be at least a year before he and Jen can get back to their normal life, and Shane will be unable to work as he continues surgeries, therapy, and recovery.

This was a tragic, freak accident, but we are all optimistic about a positive outcome with his recovery. However, it's obviously very financially straining with the loss of work, medical bills, and travel expenses for surgeries in the twin cities.
