SUPPORT Shane & Amy

My name is Sarah Townson and I (along with DeAnna Thornton and Justin Townson) am fundraising money to help support Shane & Amy Townson through this time of need. This past week, Shane got the news that he has Leukemia and will need to be in the hospital for a month while he goes through his chemo treatment! As you can imagine the hardship this can put on a family. I’d love to be able to raise this money to not only help Amy and the kids with gas to and from the hospital but to simply take away any added stress that having to take off work (unpaid) might bring. They will have other much more important things to focus on, money should not be one of them during this time!

The following is Shane’s last FB post about it. I share this because Shane is a firm believer and would love to have as many prayer warriors out there as possible.

“All of my family, and all of my friends. #1 I love you all very deeply. #2 I know whom I believe in, My Lord, the Lord Jesus Christ. I have some bad news. I have Leukemia. Thank God it's not advanced, and so I will start chemo Sunday. I will most likely be in the hospital for a good month. I apologize for telling or sharing this information but I want/need all the prayers I can get. One advantage of Social Media. May Christ be Glorified through this and hopefully this bad news turns into great news because of God's wonderful grace. Amy will keep everyone posted. Love yall”
