Hello to you all. My name is Shandi. Back in September, right before my birthday, I received news that no one wants to hear. I have cancer. Not just any cancer, but a very rare form called mucosal melanoma. I have been receiving treatment in Houston TX at MD Anderson. I do have insurance through my job but man o' man are the bills still expensive. I am blessed right now to still be able to work and keep up with personal expenses, but my hospital expenses are becoming larger. I am so thankful already to those who have donated and helped with fundraising but those funds are already gone to hospital bills. I am not a person who likes to ask for help because I want to try and take care of things myself, but sometimes being humble and seeking help is what we have to do. I only ask and pray that if you are lead to give that this is an outpouring only of love. God is in this story!
