For nearly four years, Shana Barone has faced stage four colon cancer with incredible courage and determination. Through every surgery, round of chemotherapy, and setback, she has inspired everyone around her with her strength and resilience.

Recently, Shana received devastating news: her latest MRI revealed two spots under her skull. This means she now faces an urgent and intensive treatment plan. Starting December 12th, Shana will undergo daily, high-intensity radiation for ten days. Afterward, she will begin two new cancer medications and resume chemotherapy once the tumors are addressed. Because this treatment is so demanding and leaves her unable to drive, Shana must stay close to the University of Pennsylvania Cancer Center in a hotel. This unexpected housing expense—on top of the ongoing costs, stress, and physical toll of treatment—has become overwhelmingly difficult for her to manage on her own.
