Support Shalom's Fight Against Herpangina & Kawasaki

Hi everyone,

We’re reaching out on behalf of sweet 7-year-old Shalom, a bright and loving little girl who’s been bravely fighting through something no child should ever have to endure. Recently, Shalom was diagnosed with Herpangina and Kawasaki Syndrome, two serious conditions that have taken a huge toll on her health.

She’s been experiencing terrifying symptoms—coughing up blood, persistent high fevers, painful blisters all over her body including mouth and throat, and tachycardia (an abnormally fast heartbeat). Despite multiple hospital visits and countless tests, her doctors have yet to find a clear solution. Shalom’s condition is still not under control, and her family is desperately trying to get her seen by a pediatric specialist who can help get her on the right path to treatment—and hopefully, a cure.

Unfortunately, insurance is not covering any of the treatment she needs. From specialist consultations to lab work, every step forward is coming out of pocket—and it’s simply too much. Shalom's family is low income, and the medical bills are growing by the day.

Travel and lodging if the specialist is out of town
