My name is Shakuria Davis and I am a first-year medical student at the American University of the Caribbean. As part of an effort to train medical students in cultural competence, global health, and provide hands-on clinical experience, my school is partnering with Vida Volunteers for a mission trip to Costa Rica. This is a 6-day trip where clinical workshops will be set up to assist those in the community.
