Shakira is a beloved photographer in the Cincinnati Tri-State area. She’s a cherished mother, fiancé, friend, and daughter. Most importantly, she is the kindest, most selfless person a lot of us know.

Shakira and her family have experienced a tremendous amount of loss in the last year. Recently, she was notified of the sudden tragic deaths of both of her maternal grandparents. Shakira is their only living relative and is having to handle all of their end-of-life arrangements, which involves lots of traveling, legal appointments, and time away from work. Being a self-employed photographer, she can’t get that time away from work back.

Shakira has been left to deal with a mountain of incredibly difficult tasks all while grieving, raising, and homeschooling her three incredible sons, and rearranging and rescheduling her clients' photo sessions…right before Christmas. Our hope is for these funds to ease the strain of missed work and will go to travel expenses, essentials like bills and groceries, and the end-of-life business she is knee-deep in.
