I am Arnita M. Brown, one of the bestfriends of Crystal Pleasant and I am creating this GoFundMe account for her daughter Shakeya Pleasant to help lesson the financial blow for funeral cost that she suddenly has to endure. I would appreciate any amount you could donate for this cause.

Crystal was an extraordinary woman—someone who was not only a devoted mother and loyal friend but a true example of unconditional love.

She was a single mom who gave everything she had to ensure her daughter never went without. Her heart was huge, always open to helping anyone she could, and her kindness left a mark on everyone who knew her. Whether it was being a shoulder to lean on, offering a helping hand, or simply showing up—she was that person.

She was also the primary caregiver to her mother, a role she embraced with love and grace until the very end. She gave her all to everyone around her—but like so many, she put herself last.

Tragically, she was in the process of securing life insurance to ease the burden on her daughter should anything ever happen. Unfortunately, due to her heart condition, she was denied. Her sudden passing has now left her only daughter to handle everything—funeral arrangements, final expenses, and life’s responsibilities—completely on her own.
