Hi everyone,

My name is Xylina, and I’m asking for help for my best friend, Shaggy.

Shaggy is my 14 year old miniature poodle. He loves car rides, walks, visiting his family, and napping. For 14 years, he has been by mine and my family’s side through everything. He is truly the friendliest little soul. If you’ve ever met him, you know how special he is.

Recently, Shaggy was diagnosed with an epithelial neoplasm tumor. Unfortunately, the tumor ruptured and left an open hole that cannot be stitched closed. Because of the risk of serious infection, the tumor must be surgically removed as soon as possible. His surgery is tentatively scheduled for next Thursday, but we urgently need help to cover the cost.

Even though Shaggy is 14 years old, he is a strong and healthy candidate for surgery. His heart is strong, his vitals are good, and he has no other health complications.

Right now, because of the excess from the tumor, Shaggy has to wear Pampers just to stay comfortable. This is not a sustainable way for him to live. He deserves comfort and he deserves the opportunity to enjoy many more happy days.

The funds raised will go directly toward:

- His tumor removal surgery

- An overnight stay for monitoring and post-operative care
