On August 3rd, 2025, Daniel “Shaggy” Seymore was the victim of a random and brutal assault. What began as a fun-filled weekend of concerts, four-wheeling, and camping quickly turned into a nightmare. Daniel was jumped by several individuals, sustaining multiple severe injuries and ultimately left for dead.

By the grace of God, a group of riders discovered him and were able to get help quickly. He was airlifted to the hospital in Tupelo, and due to the extent of his injuries, he was transferred to Memphis. Daniel is currently intubated and sedated, awaiting reconstructive surgery. The medical team plans to perform surgery before bringing him out of sedation.

Unfortunately, Daniel does not have short-term disability coverage. As the primary provider for his family, his injuries will place an overwhelming financial burden on his loved ones—not only due to the loss of income but also from the significant medical expenses that lie ahead.
