Support Shae's Family in Their Time of Need

Donation protected
Hello, my name is Shae. Let me start off by saying that normally I am the type of person who absolutely hates to ask for help, but at this point I am at a loss of what else to do and I’m willing to humble myself to ask for help for myself, and all of my babies. As many people may know, my fiancé of 13 years/father of my child, Kendall Hackworth, passed away in November of 2022. Since the loss of him, I have struggled immensely to provide just the bare necessities for myself and our children. The only things that have kept me going throughout these tough times have been my children, and our sweet fur baby, Sugar, whom belonged to my fiancé. Right after Kendall passed, we decided that it would be easier to move to somewhere that didn’t hold all the traumatic memories of losing him. So we began renting off of someone who had agreed up front that Sugar could stay there with us. After less than 3 months of being there, for whatever reason, our landlord decided that Sugar could no longer be there and threatened that if they found her there while I wasn’t home he would sit her outside. She has always been an inside dog. Putting her outside all of a sudden, especially if I was at work at the time, would’ve most certainly led to her being injured badly or more than likely killed. So, after considering all of my options, which weren’t many on such short notice, I decided that we would just move. It was at this time that I decided to board Sugar while we found another place to live. The boarding place told us when we took her in that because of the amount of time she would be staying, they would do a payment plan with me. So my sons and I began staying with family members while we searched for another place. In the midst of all of this chaos, my car also tore up, so on top of everything, I also had to quit my job. Finally, after spending nearly a month of searching while staying with family members, we were able to find another place to rent that also allows pets. I immediately called the boarding place to notify them that I wanted to pick Sugar up. They then said the only way I could pick her up was to have $500 down and pay $500 a month until the balance was paid off. At the moment the only income we have coming in is my son’s survivor benefits check from Kendall passing away, which is $1,063 a month. After paying rent and our other bills we are left with less than $100 for the entire month. We are struggling to even get by right now! I am currently searching for another job closer to home, but haven’t had any luck so far. However, we really, really miss our girl so very much! She makes us feel closer to Kendall, and honestly has acted as our emotional support animal! I’m so afraid if I don’t come up with enough to pick her up soon then they will try to keep her. Any & all donations you can give to help me & my kids, and to help bring Sugar home, or even just your prayers in this difficult time, would be greatly appreciated!!
