Hello!

My name is JJ, and my partner Addie and I have been feeding a stray cat that would come to our apartment for a few months, a sweet black cat we named Shadow (potentially after a certain cool hedgehog and not because she's a black cat). A few weeks ago, she had a spot of matted fur on her back, and a few nights ago, we saw that the patch of skin where the mat was ripped off. With great effort form the community in our apartment complex, we managed to get her into a carrier and to the vet, but the bill was quite hefty.

Once Shadow is all healed and is formally introduced to our current cat Lele, we will be keeping Shadow as the new addition to our home! So we are making this go fund me to not only help with the this current vet bill, but also so we may be able to get additional supplies, food, and toys for the new baby. We know how hard times are right now, so any amount is greatly appreciated.
