Help Sgt. Joshua Wells and His Family Rebuild
On July 4, 2026, a severe storm caused a large tree to fall onto Sgt. Joshua Wells' home and vehicle. The damage to their home was so extensive that it is now uninhabitable, and their vehicle was declared a total loss.
As a result, Josh, his wife, and their two dogs have been displaced and are currently living in a hotel while they navigate the long process of rebuilding. Much of the cost for temporary housing and other immediate expenses is being paid out of pocket.
Sgt. Wells has proudly served the Vernon Police Department since 2013 after previously serving with the Metropolitan Police Department in Washington, D.C. Throughout his career, he has served as a Patrol Officer, School Resource Officer, Field Training Officer, Narcotics Officer, and now Sergeant. He has spent 19 years serving others and is widely respected for his professionalism, compassion, and dedication to the community.
Josh is the type of person who would never ask for help, but now he needs ours.
Your donation will help provide temporary housing for Josh, his wife, and their two dogs, assist with home repairs, and help replace essential transportation. Every contribution, no matter the amount, will make a meaningful difference. If you're unable to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser.
Thank you for supporting Sgt. Joshua Wells and his family during this difficult time.
