Film Finals is dedicated to uplifting student filmmakers and amplifying diverse voices through cinematic storytelling. Rooted in San Francisco State University’s historic commitment to equity, creativity, and social justice, the festival provides a platform for students to share films that explore identity, community, resistance, and transformation.
Each year, Film Finals brings together students, alumni, faculty, and members of the Bay Area film community to celebrate the bold and innovative work created by SFSU filmmakers.
