Hello SFCP parents and alumni,

God’s peace be with you. I am writing with some exciting news. Westhope is

undertaking a once-in-a-generation challenge and we are inviting you to join us. The Westhope facility has been here in Saratoga since the early 1960s and over that time has served the community around us with a lot of passion and love. Also, over that time, the facility has aged and we are at the point where some of the original plumbing and fixtures are just old and giving out. It is time for a refresh! Unfortunately, the church’s dreams did not include a kitchen upgrade, which Ms. Nadia really wants and needs. The water pipes, the sinks are original, and the faucets are not doing well. We recently replaced the floor, but the countertops are chipping and frankly, just old and ugly. The lighting is outdated. I know the meals for the children are vitally important, and the kitchen itself is a hub for the teachers and staff. So, Ms. Nadia suggested that we partner in the Capital Campaign, and since the preschool uses the kitchen so much, that

would be the much-needed goal. The preschool is hoping to raise $60,000 to upgrade the kitchen, and we are asking you to participate to get the kitchen up to current standards, more functional, and looking beautiful. Will you please help?! If we all work together, we can do it for the current children and all those who will follow them!!

She has set up a GoFundMe so everyone can see our progress toward our goal. If any of you have matching grants available through your workplaces, we obviously welcome that as well. All donations are tax-deductible, and we have all the information you need for that.
