Support San Francisco Poster Syndicate's Art of Resistance
Donation protected
The San Francisco Poster Syndicate grew out of the crisis around higher education – student debt and the abuse of adjunct faculty. We create and screen print original images, continuing the rich history of posters as a form of political messaging. We print the posters “live” at political actions, exhibitions, and on the street, giving away the work for free in order to target a variety of current social and economic justice issues.
We survived one Trump administration and we plan to survive another one but to do so we need to build our community up. We have been given a few spots on Clarion Alley in San Francisco not only to paint murals in response to Trumps reelection but to build a community space. We plan to be in Clarion Alley every Sunday for the foreseeable future (actions & weather permitted) to paint, print and hold space for folks to organize together. We will be painting murals, printing posters, building puppets, playing music, crying, laughing and organizing together & we want you to join us!
These funds will help us keep afloat with not only our Clarion action but any upcoming actions that arise with the Trump administration. These funds will go towards paper, paint, ink, brushes, etc. so we can continue to share art of resistance with the greater Bay Area community.
UPDATE: Wow, thank you everyone for the donations. We upped our goal to $3,000 to help us get through the lead up to the Trump administration and the first few months of him being in office. We function on about $10,000 a year so this goal would be a huge help to our efforts.
Thank you for your kindness, time & donation. We hope to see you in the streets!
With love, SF Poster Syndicate.
