Support Seth's Healing and Living Expenses

My name is Jasmine and Seth is my big brother and my only sibling. My brother is an over all healthy 27 year old man who has the love of hunting and working in landscaping and contracting. Seth initially started to feel some pain in is abdomen and was starting to go yellow so he went into the ER at Billings Clinic to what he was hoping was going to be a quick visit, ended up being a roller coster of events.

Seth was initially admitted to the hospital on March 5th, diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver, a large spleen, and fluid accumulation in the abdomen. On the second day of his stay, a paracentesis procedure was performed, during which 2 liters of fluid were drained. He has been prescribed Prednisone, folic acid, B12, and Lasix for water retention management. Due to the severe liver damage, he also experiences swelling in his legs and feet, as his body is unable to retain water effectively. Additionally, his platelet count is very low, currently in the 20s. He is also being treated with antibiotics for a blood infection.

The doctors are currently investigating a rare condition called Wilson's disease, which may be contributing to his symptoms.

Seth was discharged on March 11th and readmitted on March 18th. On March 19th, another paracentesis was performed, and 4 liters of fluid were drained. On March 21st, an endoscopic procedure was conducted to address bleeding in his stomach and bowels. Later that evening, he experienced vomiting of blood, and the following morning, he vomited a small amount of blood again.

At present, we are awaiting the possibility of transferring Seth to Seattle to be placed on a transplant list. Right now he is in Billings Clinic.

In addition, Seth currently has monthly living expenses totaling $995 for rent, approximately $250 for utilities, and $60 for internet. This does not include the cost of groceries and other personal expenses, which he estimates to be around $250 to $300 monthly. And now he is out of his job because he is not able to work, which he does not have insurance at the time either which we are trying to get him on Medicaid.

Seth has a long and hard journey ahead of him and we are uncertain on the time he will be in the hospital and how long his recovery time will be. He has expenses that will be continuing to pile up while he is in the hospital. We desperately need all the help and prayers we can get.
