My friend and coworker Seth Hartness (19) was critically injured this past week in his occupation as a construction worker. Seth was rushed from the site to University Hospital in Cincinnati. He sustained multiple critical injuries throughout his body, including serious head trauma. Since Monday, he has had multiple surgeries to address his many injuries, with more expected over the next couple of weeks. As his loving family holds vigil, never far away, he is beginning to improve.

Seth is a tremendous person, who has earned the respect of all who know him. I’ve personally worked side-by-side with him for 7+ months where we’ve become good friends. Our entire work group has been praying for him and trying our best to keep informed. Seth has a long, arduous recovery ahead of him. We are all trying to raise funds to cover his normal living expenses, so he can concentrate on getting better without worrying of money.
