Hi there, and God bless you! My name is Seryna Cruz, and I am a 30 year old single mother from Chicago, IL in need of any and all help.

The reason I've created this GoFundMe is that due to health issues, I'm currently out of work at the moment. For the past 2 years, I have been a teacher's assistant at a local school here in Chicago, but I took the summer off to receive an ACL surgery that is supposed to improve my quality of life and make my job as a mother and assistant easier. However, due to working at a school for the past two years, and the fact that I have "reasonable assurance" that I will be working at the same school next year, I am unable to receive unemployment like I had hoped due to being ineligible. Because of this, I find myself financially unstable and in quite a predicament.

It would mean the world to my daughter and I if you could help us out, even just a little bit. I feel extremely embarrassed and ashamed to even have to ask for help, because I'm so used to taking care of matters like this privately. But I will do almost anything I have to do to make sure my daughter is taken care of, and we keep a roof over our heads.

I'm also currently looking for any work from home opportunity that I can do while recovering from surgery, and that is honestly what would help the most. I'm a hard worker and adept at most technology and computer work. Any opportunity helps.
