Hi everyone,
I am writing this with a heavy heart but a lot of hope. I am reaching out to ask for your support for my husband, Serhii, here in Fort Worth, Texas.
In December, our lives were turned upside down when my husband suffered a severe injury — a tendon tear in his shoulder. Because he was unable to receive surgery right away, he developed a complication called "Frozen Shoulder" (Adhesive Capsulitis). Today, he lives with constant, debilitating pain and can barely lift his arm.
My husband is the sole provider for our family. Because of this injury, he is physically unable to perform his job duties and has lost his job. Since he was the only one working, our family is now left without any income during one of the most difficult times of our lives. More than anything, he wants to regain the use of his arm so he can return to work and provide for me and our 12-year-old daughter. It breaks my heart to see a hardworking man unable to support his family due to a physical barrier that only surgery can fix.
Doctors have confirmed that a complex surgical procedure is the only way to restore his health. Without this urgent surgery, the damage will become irreversible, and my husband faces the risk of permanent disability, losing his ability to ever return to his profession and provide for us. The procedure involves repairing the tear, releasing the frozen joint, and shaving down the bone (acromioplasty) to prevent a re-rupture in the future.
The road ahead is long—rehabilitation is expected to take 6 to 12 months. We are doing everything we can to manage, but the mounting medical expenses and basic bills have become overwhelming.
Your donations will go directly toward:
Surgical and Hospital Fees – Covering the surgery, surgeon’s fees, and anesthesia.
Intensive Physical Therapy required to make his arm functional again.
Essential recurring costs – Such as car insurance and mobile phone service, which are vital for transportation to medical appointments and staying connected with healthcare providers during his recovery.
Please help Serhii get back on his feet so he can be the provider and father he has always been for us. Any donation or share of this link means the world to our family.
Thank you for reading our story and for any kindness you can offer.
With deep gratitude,
Maryna
