Help This Grieving Family After the Tragic Loss of Their 16-Year-Old Daughter

On July 7, 2025, a tragic car accident in Zhytomyr, Ukraine, took the life of a beautiful 16-year-old girl, Diana Pidkaura. She was riding in the back seat with her best friend when the car—driven by a 27-year-old man who was reportedly intoxicated—crashed into a pillar. The impact left her with a severe brain injury that was not compatible with life. Despite the doctors’ best efforts, she passed away after three hours of critical care.

Her best friend survived but remains hospitalized with three pelvic fractures, internal injuries, and a concussion.

This young girl’s death has shattered her family.

At only 13 years old, her family was split apart by the war in Ukraine. While half of the family was able to escape to America, she remained in Ukraine with her mother and older brother. They endured the challenges of war and separation together, and now they face an even greater heartbreak.

Her sudden and tragic passing has devastated the family. They are struggling emotionally and financially. They cannot afford the funeral costs, and they’ll need help with basic needs and support as they navigate this unimaginable loss.
