Hey guys, my name is Sophia and I am making this go fund me for my dad, Sergio.

A few weeks ago my Dad had a major heart attack and was emergency airlifted to St Helena hospital for immediate surgery. During the surgery they found a large blood clot in one of his main arteries on the left side of his heart. Plus additional clotting and damage around this artery and due to this had to place a permanent stint in that artery. Due to this he is now also permanently on many new medications.

Thankfully the surgery was successful and he is now focused on his recovery. After coming out of the ICU and his almost week long hospital stay, I am very happy to say he is home now.

His family and friends are doing what they can to help but there is only so many resources we can pull together.

With Sergio not being able to work or drive currently due to this medical emergency and the importance of him taking time for his recovery, we are in need of some help from our community. Anything helps. I’m deeply grateful to even come from a community where we feel comfortable enough to even make or share this. Even if donation is not possible, sharing this means everything to me.
