Hola familia y amigos, mi nombre es Stephanie González y estoy pidiendo ayuda para una recaudación de fondos para mi papá, Sergio González López como mucho, lo conocen “al bro”. Estas últimas semanas han sido muy difíciles para nosotros. A principios de junio, sufrió un golpe de calor que le dañó los riñones y ahora solo están funcionando al 38%. Estuvo una semana en el hospital y luego pasó dos semanas en casa sin poder trabajar, solo descansando. Cuando intentaba caminar, se ponía muy pálido y no tenía ánimos para nada.

Mientras tanto, mi mamá y yo seguimos trabajando, pero el negocio ha estado muy lento. Algunos días apenas ganamos entre $25 y $40. El lunes 28 de junio, tuvo una cita médica y le dijeron que fuera directamente al hospital. Estaba en la sala de emergencias con dolor por el nervio ciático y síntomas de un ataque al corazón. Esa noche lo dejaron ir, pero el martes alrededor de las 6:30 p.m., recibimos una llamada del hospital diciendo: “Vengan al hospital, encontramos algo en su sangre que no nos gustó”. Corrimos al hospital esa tarde, pasó la noche allí, y el miércoles a las 12 de la noche lo trasladaron al Hospital General de Tampa. El jueves a mediodía lo operaron, sacándole una muestra de su médula ósea. El viernes por la mañana recibimos una noticia inesperada: le encontraron cáncer. El tipo de cáncer que le diagnosticaron es leucemia, cáncer en la sangre. El lunes 4 de agosto comenzó su primer tratamiento de quimioterapia. Los doctores dijeron que cada sesión de quimio cuesta desde $1,000 o más, y él recibe quimioterapia 4 veces por semana, lo que equivale a $4,000 por semana y $16,000 al mes. Es muy difícil para nosotros poder cubrir ese costo semanal y mensual. Estamos buscando ayuda para recaudar fondos y que él pueda continuar con su tratamiento de quimioterapia. Hey family and friends my names is Stephanie Gonzalez and I’m asking for a fundraiser for my dad Sergio Gonzalez lopez “el bro” as many of yall know him as that these past weeks have been rough for us the beginning of June he got hit with a heat stroke his kidneys got damaged and only running with 38% he was in the hospital for a week and was home from 2 weeks without working and just resting once he walked he would start looking so pale and mood for nothing as me and my mom kept going to work business been really slow for us with being said sometimes we would only make $25 to $40 dollars a day Monday June 28th, he had his doctors appointment and they told him to go straight to the hospital he was in the emergency room was getting hit with a sciatic nerve and symptoms of a heart attack they let him go that night and Tuesday around 6:30 pm we got a call from the hospital as they stated “come to the hospital he found something in your blood that’s we didn’t like” we rushed to the hospital that afternoon he spent the night and Wednesday at 12 in the night he was transferred to Tampa General Hospital Thursday mid day they operated him taking a piece of bone from his bone marrow, Friday morning we received a news unexpected that they found “cancer” the cancer he got diagnosed with is leukemia “cancer in his blood” Monday August 4th he started his first chemotherapy as the doctors stated that each chemo starts from $1000 and up and he gets chemo 4 times a week making that $4000 a week and $16,000 a month it’s really hard for us to pay that much in a week and a month we are trying to find help in raising money so he can keep doing his chemotherapy with anything yall would like to donate will be well appreciated and will help with a lot thank you yall for the support and help we thank yall with all our hearts .
