My name is Renee and I'm starting this GoFundMe to help one of my dearest friends, Serge. Unfortunately, Serge is among those affected by Hurricane Helene on Davis Island in Tampa.

Serge is truly one of the most kind, generous, and positively optimistic people I have been lucky enough to have in my life for 20 years.

Serge is the kind of guy where it is impossible to dim his light. If you call on him for anything he will be there for you and won't ask, he will just show up when needed. He will give you his last and the shirt off his back without you even asking. Serge is and always will be a solid friend who will be there for you no matter what.

Even when he battled and overcame cancer, he refused to give up and never showed any negativity when he was well within reason to do so.

Despite his home and his possessions having been damaged, destroyed, and ruined by the flooding, he remains positive and in this situation, now is the time to do what he has done for me and so many others.

Now, in his time of need, I have to get him all the help I can get, as he would do it for me and you with no hesitation.

All funds donated will go to cover damages, supplies, temporary housing costs, the replacement of clothing, electronics, and storage unit costs.
