Dear Friends,
We are writing to you as Serenity’s family, reaching out with open hearts and a deep hope that you can walk alongside us during an incredibly difficult time.
Serenity is a bright, joyful three-year-old who has recently been diagnosed with a rare and aggressive cancer called neuroblastoma. Her journey with treatment has just begun at Children’s Hospital, more than 120 miles from her home, and the road ahead is expected to be long and challenging. Much of her treatment will require extended hospital stays, and while her spirit is strong, she will need the love and presence of her family more than ever.
Serenity’s parents, Ryan and Mary, are doing everything they can to support her while also caring for her three older siblings. Our family is doing our best to rotate time at the hospital so that Serenity never feels alone, while still trying to keep up with jobs and the many responsibilities of daily life. But the financial strain of travel, lost income, meals, parking, rent, and other basic needs has become more than we can continue to carry on our own.
If you are able to help—through a donation, a prayer, or simply by sharing this message—we would be so deeply grateful. Every gift, no matter the size, will go directly to supporting Serenity and her family during this critical time, helping us ensure that she always has someone she loves by her side.
Serenity is a little girl full of sunshine. She loves camping, planting flowers, and playing with her friends. She adores her cat, who she wishes could curl up beside her in the hospital, and like many three-year-old girls, she’s absolutely obsessed with the color pink.
We believe in the power of love, community, and connection. Your kindness can help give Serenity the one thing she needs most right now: the presence and comfort of her family as she faces this battle.
You can follow Serenity’s journey and share your support here: Serenity's CaringBridge.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for reading, for caring, and for standing with us in this time of need.
With love and gratitude,
Serenity’s Family
