Help Cindy Tauscher relocate and replenish Serenity Now Massage & Facial Spa After Devastating Fire.
On Saturday, January 31st in the early a.m., our business/world changed forever. A devastating fire tore through Serenity Now Massage & Facial Spa, destroying the space where we have served this community for 18 years. While we are incredibly grateful that no one was hurt, the fire destroyed all our equipment, facial machines, massage tables, towel cabbies, furniture, computers, electronics, linens, inventory, and much more, leaving us at a total loss.
Serenity Now Massage & Facial Spa was more than just a business—it was my passion and my family's livelihood along with my employee's passion and livelihood. Seeing it reduced to ashes is heartbreaking. Back in 2008, when Serenity first started, I was one of the first massage therapists to get hired. I worked very hard throughout the years to establish a great client following. In 2012, the owners approached me and asked if I wanted to buy it. So I did and relocated to 805 Bay Ave in Somers Point, NJ. Not once did I shut down to relocate; I closed on Thursday at that location and reopened in our new place the very next morning on Friday. There, I added facials and waxing services to the menu. My husband and I worked very hard to create a very lovely, inviting space for our clients. We are now facing the overwhelming challenge of relocating and replenishing everything.
We are reaching out for help to replace essential equipment, cover immediate expenses, and begin the process of reopening our doors so we can get back to doing what we love—taking care of all our clients that we love and miss. Any donation, no matter the size, will make a massive difference in helping us get back on our feet. If you cannot donate, sharing this page means the world to us. Thank you for your kindness and support during this time.
