Serenity Kennel: Healing Together - People and Pets

In our experience, making the decision to break free of alcohol and/or drug dependency by attending a rehabilitation center is a huge step in reclaiming one’s life.

Unfortunately, people and their pets needlessly suffer when this life-changing decision becomes delayed or abandoned due to inaccessible, or unaffordable pet housing and care options.

That is why we are starting the World’s first and only non-profit kennel program to remove this barrier for those who are seeking addiction treatment.

Our mission at Serenity Kennel is to remove the worry of finding a place to care for cats and dogs during treatment stays.

*We will lodge pets during treatment, regardless of the duration.

*We will provide scholarship funds to offset costs based on need.

*We will provide a safe and supportive temporary home for animals so the focus can be on recovery.

We have experienced this challenge personally. We remember the struggle it was to find safe, supportive, and affordable lodging for our beloved dogs while we completed our in-patient treatment.

Pet lodging of this type is a huge need that is not being addressed, and a service of this type will have an immediate and lasting impact on the lives of people and their pets.

We are asking for donations to help turn this vision into a reality.

Your donations will help us secure a facility to provide kenneling services, start-up costs, operations, and scholarship funding.

Serenity Kennel is a registered non-profit in the state of Minnesota. We are currently working on 501(c)(3) tax exempt designation filings.
