Hi, my name is Serenity Mitchell. I am 20 years old and a single mom to my two and a half year old daughter.
Recently, my friend and I were Door-dashing so that I could make some extra cash, when my car started smoking and completely broke down. The mechanic is saying it’s my motor, and that it would cost more to repair it than what I bought the car for. I rely on this car to get me to work, and to various doctors appointments as I have many medical needs. I have been making it work without a car. I have been finding rides and walking to my doctor's appointments, but I do have severe asthma and with the weather getting hotter, the walking is flaring up my asthma. My asthma flare-ups often land me in the hospital and unable to work for days or weeks, which creates more of a financial burden for me. I love my job, but it does not pay enough for me to raise my child, pay bills, and have enough at the end of the month to save for anything, let alone a whole new car. By the grace of God, we make it work from month to month, but I was not prepared for this unexpected expense, as I just bought the car 2 months ago.
If you could please help a single mom out, anything helps. My goal is $12,000 so I can buy myself and my daughter a car, that will reliably get us to where we need to go, I would be forever grateful. Thank you for your kindness and for reading this far, may you have a blessed day.
