Serene has been a dedicated member of the South Shore University Hospital team for many years, always going above and beyond for her patients and colleagues. Recently, Serene was diagnosed with breast cancer, a challenge that has taken her away from the work and community she loves. As she undergoes treatment, she has been unable to return to work, and her disability and benefits have unfortunately run out. Despite these hardships, Serene continues to face each day with courage and hope, determined to overcome this difficult chapter in her life.
