My name is Serena, and I am raising funds to help me relocate to Israel after a series of frightening and traumatic events that have left me feeling unsafe in my own community.
On May 9, 2025, I was doxxed by pro-Palestinian groups. My personal information was spread across Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, and other platforms, along with a petition to have me fired from my job as a case manager for the homeless.
Then, on May 30, 2025 — Shabbat eve — my life changed forever. While cleaning graffiti after work, I was attacked by three young adults wearing full Islamic garb and keffiyehs. They stole my belongings and physically assaulted me. To my shock and heartbreak, neighbors I had known for years not only refused to help — some even assisted the attackers by holding me against a car and taking my phone and body camera.
Since then, I have endured ongoing harassment and death threats, simply for hanging hostage posters in Oakland. I no longer feel safe walking down the street, let alone living here.
That is why I am making aliyah — immigrating to Israel — this November. This is not just a relocation; it is a step toward safety, dignity, and a fresh start away from violence and intimidation.
Relocation costs are high, and I am asking for help to cover travel, moving expenses, and the essentials I’ll need to rebuild my life in a new country.
If you are able to contribute, any amount — big or small — will make a meaningful difference. If you cannot donate, please consider sharing my story.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for reading, for caring, and for helping me take this step toward safety and peace.
