My name is Vanessa and my daughter Serena was involved in a terrible car accident on July 13, 2025, on Highway 26, near Timothy Lake on Mt. Hood (Oregon).
She was with 3 others and went head-on into another vehicle. Serena was in the backseat passenger side. She and the front passenger took the most impact of the collision.
After the wreck, Serena and the front passenger somehow managed to crawl out of the car and to the side of the road where passersby stayed by them till medics got there.
Serena suffered severe facial injuries. She had a big laceration that went from her forehead, around her eyebrow, and straight across between her eye and brow.
She has a fractured eye socket, 3 broken ribs, a fractured pelvis, and a sacral fracture, along with many bumps and bruises. Her nose was broken and nearly torn off her face. She had surgery to sew her laceration, and her nose was also repaired. She has a long recovery ahead of her.
Serena returned to work barely 2 weeks ago after being on maternity leave. She is the mother to 2-month-old Zavien and 3-year-old Avaya.
Clearly, she will not be able to return to work for a while, as her recovery will be lengthy.
We are humbly asking for any support you can offer as she begins her recovery. Please keep her in your prayers — your kindness means the world to us, and we are deeply grateful for any assistance.
