Hi everyone, my name is Serena Pettigrew, and I was born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica. The recent hurricane has devastated my home island — destroying homes, flooding communities, and leaving families without food, electricity, clothing, and much more. This tragedy hits close to home for me because my father, brothers, and several other family members were directly affected.

I'm organizing a relief drive to collect and ship non-perishable food, clothing, and essential supplies from the U.S. to those in need across Jamaica.

Funds raised through this GoFundMe will go toward:

⚫️ Shipping costs for barrels and boxes of donations to Jamaica

⚫️ Transportation to the shipping dock

⚫️ Purchasing extra food, hygiene items, and baby supplies that aren't donated

⚫️ Coordinating local distribution through trusted family and community contacts in Jamaica to ensure aid reaches the families who need it most

Every contribution — no matter how small — will go directly toward relief efforts. I'll be posting updates, receipts, and shipping confirmations so donors can see how their support is being used.
