On Wednesday, March 18, my sister Serena was on her way to work when she was involved in a serious car accident that left her vehicle totaled.

She suffered a small brain bleed, internal bleeding, a fractured rib, and significant damage to her right leg. She has already undergone two abdominal surgeries to address the internal bleeding and reduce the risk of stroke.

While we are hopeful for her recovery, it will be a long and challenging journey. During this time, she won’t be able to work, but her financial responsibilities will continue.
