Support Serena's Fight Against Anemia

Hi, my name is Katie and I am asking for help to save my 10 month old Lynx Point Siamese kitten named Serena. She was perfectly fine one day and out of no where had an unexpected turn for the worst. She became Anemic and her red blood cell count dropped very low at 7% (it should be between 25% and 38%) and sadly she almost didn’t make it. In order to save her life she had to have a blood transfusion to get her stable before even doing the tests to figure out why she is Anemic. They checked her blood work and she is FIV negative, Feline Leukemia negative, no blood parasites and they didn’t see anything indicating cancer which is good news, but they warned me that she might need a second transfusion before they can do additional tests, which is what ended up happening. Serena is currently at the vet hospital now getting her second blood transfusion and then she needs to get a bone marrow aspirate to finally diagnose and treat whatever it is that is causing her Anemia. I never met a cat like Serena, she is the love of my life and the most beautiful kitten I ever met inside and out! She snuggles, follows me around everywhere, plays fetch and has the personality like puppy. After I adopted her she not only was in the newspaper, has her own tik tok and is one of a kind but she is loved by so many! I just can’t bring myself to putting her down when she deserves a fighting chance. She’s just a baby still and she stole my heart and everyone who meets her.
