Hola, soy Serena, y te hablo desde un lugar de esperanza y fe. Hoy, quiero compartir mi historia con la esperanza de que puedas ser parte de mi lucha por sobrevivir y encontrar respuestas.

Desde que era una niña de 9 años, fui diagnosticada con diabetes, y he aprendido a vivir con ella. Pero en los últimos años, las complicaciones han ido empeorando y han comenzado a afectar gravemente mi vida. He enfrentado una falla multiorgánica, pielonefritis enfisematosa recurrente, insuficiencia renal, dificultades de movilidad y dolores crónicos que no me dejan descansar.

A pesar de numerosas hospitalizaciones y esfuerzos para encontrar soluciones en el sistema de salud pública, no he podido obtener un diagnóstico claro que explique todo lo que estoy viviendo. La incertidumbre médica me hace sentir impotente, porque cada consulta, prueba y tratamiento implica un costo que ya no puedo cubrir. Y aunque la situación sigue siendo difícil, me niego a rendirme.

He buscado ayuda en la medicina privada, pero los costos son aún más altos. Mis médicos continúan tratando de encontrar una respuesta, pero la carga económica y emocional sigue creciendo.

Hoy, te pido tu ayuda. Necesito fondos para realizarme pruebas especializadas, tratamientos avanzados y terapias que me den la posibilidad de encontrar un diagnóstico definitivo. Este es un camino largo, pero con tu apoyo, puedo continuar luchando por mi salud y mi vida.

Cualquier aportación, por pequeña que sea, me acerca más a una vida sin dolor. Si no puedes donar, te agradeceré profundamente si compartes mi historia con otras personas, para que más personas puedan unirse a esta causa.

“Every day is a battle, but I refuse to give up.”

Hi, I’m Serena, and I’m reaching out from a place of hope and faith. Today, I want to share my story with you, hoping you can be part of my fight to survive and find answers.

At just 9 years old, I was diagnosed with diabetes, and I’ve learned to live with it. But in recent years, the complications have worsened, significantly impacting my life. I’ve faced multi-organ failure, recurrent emphysematous pyelonephritis, kidney failure, mobility challenges, and chronic pain that robs me of rest.

Despite numerous hospitalizations and efforts to find solutions through the public healthcare system, I haven’t been able to obtain a clear diagnosis to explain everything I’m going through. This medical uncertainty leaves me feeling powerless because every consultation, test, and treatment comes at a cost I can no longer afford. Yet, despite the challenges, I refuse to give up.

I’ve sought help from private healthcare, but the costs are even higher. My doctors are still working to find answers, but the financial and emotional burden keeps growing.

Today, I’m asking for your help. I need funds to undergo specialized tests, advanced treatments, and therapies that could bring me closer to a definitive diagnosis. This is a long journey, but with your support, I can continue fighting for my health and my life.
