Hello. My name is Sereia. I am going to make this short and sweet considering you are here from my social media and I yap professionally on there.

I am currently struggling with securing employment, which has put me in crisis financially. I left a DV situation a while ago and have been seemingly left barren when it comes to resources or assistance for about six months now. I have been in my car full-time since April, but have spent many a cold night against my will in Betty (that’s her name ) since November. What has happened to me has changed the course of my life. I lost my employment, I lost my home, friends, family, precious items. But I cant give up. I realized there’s more people like me. And I was put on this planet to give a voice to them. I need to advocate.  I don’t like the word victim. Not even survivor. I’m a fighter. I’m on my path to become a domestic violence advocate and make changes in local government.

Unfortunately, I have exhausted my last resource and need to try to beat the clock. I have utilized every single last extension and took every single last hit to my credit, but was not able to beat the clock on my car repossession scheduled at 9am on October 15th. Things work slowly. I’m still waiting to hear back about a safe leave payment from August. I don’t have much in this world, but am grateful for everything around. While I am not materialistic, my car means the world to me. Living out of it feels like home and I’d love to try and keep her.

As I’ve mentioned in most of my social media, I’m usually around giving out harm reduction kits and waters. Since it’s been getting cold, I’ve been giving away some of the jackets I can part with. Due to the fact I’m size small, it’s not inclusive. My life as a nomad would be nothing without those around me who sit beside me at rock bottom and look up to dream at the stars. If by the grace of the universe, there is an overfund, I would like to go to Goodwill and grab some larger coats to keep for those in need.
