Small businesses deserve a fair chance to succeed. Sensory Sentiments is ready to do its part.
Sensory Sentiments is not just a spa. It is an experience that redefines wellness and self-care. Our facility in Bowie Town Center held a soft opening earlier this year, and our grand opening is scheduled for October 23rd. We created an exclusive retreat for anyone seeking serenity in a busy world. You are mean to live in peace.
I am Nadine Vatel, a lifelong resident of Prince George's County. I am the majority owner. From the beginning, we faced one challenge after another. Construction delays drained resources. A lease agreement that I believe is ambiguous forced us to pay rent before the space was complete. Cash flow disappeared before a single client walked through the door. Dealing with the bank and landlord only added pressure.
Now, as the community rallies around us, we are weeks away from closing. Supporters like Ingrid Campbell have said, "We need this in Bowie," and Darien Michele shared her excitement after touring the spa. Employees who believed in this vision face losing their jobs.
This is bigger than one spa. It is about whether small business owners can survive when the rules are unclear and the system feels stacked against them.
Your Move
Help Sensory Sentiments stay open and continue serving the Bowie community. Your donation will cover critical operating costs and protect local jobs. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us closer to keeping this peaceful retreat alive.
Together, we can make sure small businesses like Sensory Sentiments get the fair shot they deserve.
