Support Señora's Journey to a Pain-Free Life
Donation protected
Hi!
We are the foster parents for this little lady, Señora. Unfortunately, the rescue she comes from is unable to help financially with her surgery, medical care, or care at all. The only reason why we haven't adopted her yet is because we truly cannot keep up with her medical bills (that upon starting to foster, we were not aware of).
Señora is a fighter. Found in a dumpster in Tijuana days from dying, she somehow made it through after spending nearly 50 days at the hospital. She then came to us as a foster. She was completely broken and terrified. Little by little, she started to trust and realize she was loved. To watch her go from completely immobile to a sassy, crazy little girl was INCREDIBLE. Unfortunately, soon after she finally became social, she started to experience seizures. She was diagnosed with epilepsy less than a month after we had her. After a diet change, many doctor visits, many sleepless nights, cluster seizures, countless tears, and medications, she is slowly becoming more stable. However, her right eye is causing her so much pain due to glaucoma that it now has to be removed to give her a better chance at a painless and stress-free life.
We were not equipped for this little babe to have this many medical problems, but we have now fallen in love with her and cannot possibly imagine bailing on her when she needs us the most. We believe that she was meant to find us, but unfortunately, due to high medical costs and her rescue not helping with medical bills, we are forced to ask for your help.
I will be posting more about her story and all her journey as we go on.
We are doing the best we can, and the best we can is try to save her life.
Any and all donations are greatly appreciated. They will cover the cost of her eye removal surgery and medications post-op.
