Our names are Selena and Paul Durnell. The end of February my wife started showing symptoms of Cauda Equina. Cauda Equina is a serious spinal medical emergency, which requires emergency surgery. The ER in town did not catch it and her symptoms worsened to the point she had 10 falls in 2 weeks at the age of 27. We finally went to Bismarck where she was diagnosed with the spinal cord injury. She was flown by helicopter to Fargo for emergency surgery and then spent two weeks in a physical therapy unit where she was learning to walk again. During this time she had a setback. She learned she had blood clots in both her legs which led to her having to take it slower in physical therapy. Our problem is this puts her out of work for awhile and 3 days into us being in Fargo my boss fired me for not being at work even though my manager said to be with my wife. We have no money saved all of it has gone to bills and we are financially strapped. We will be living on me door dashing which won't get us too far. We have and $1800 mortgage among 2 vehicle payments, insurance, and other bills including medical now. We ask the community to help anyway they can whether it be a job for me, groceries, money, or help with bills it would be greatly appreciated.
