My sister, Selah, is a hard working college student who has been given an incredible opportunity to participate in a National Student Exchange program through the University of Minnesota. She is studying kinesiology, and this program offers unique learning experiences and coursework that aligns directly with her academic goals and future career.
For one semester, she'll be studying at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa—a location the university chose for its unique ecosystems, cultural traditions, and health perspectives. This intensive academic experience will allow Selah to learn about health and wellness from another perspective and gain real-world knowledge and skills in her field, while also engaging with the islands’ rich traditions and community.
She has been working hard to gain experience in her field by becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) this summer and obtaining a job as a personal care assistant (PCA). She is working to both gain experience while saving up for this opportunity.
If you are willing and able to help support her dream, any donations, big or small, will directly go toward tuition, housing, and academic materials for the semester. Even simply sharing this page is a huge help.
We are so proud of the hard work Selah has put into her studies and the positive impact she is already making (and will continue to make) in the world of health and wellness. Thank you for considering being part of her journey!
