Rohnert Park Cotati Educators Association (RPCEA) went on strike for 6 school days from March 10th to March 17th. Teachers went on strike because our community has been facing a crisis in our schools due to unacceptably low wages that prevent CRPUSD from recruiting and retaining the best educators for our students. Many Service Employee International Union (SEIU) employees went on a sympathy strike with RPCEA and stood on the picket lines in solidarity with teachers. They did not receive pay on the days that they were on strike.

All money donated to this GoFundMe will go directly to SEIU members to recoup lost wages. Any leftover money will be used to fund classroom grants for teachers.
