For the past 10 years, Segundo has been the heart and soul of Cent'Anni. As a dedicated team member, he's the person who holds everything together – always knowing exactly what needs to be done and being there for everyone around him. To say he is the backbone of the place would be an understatement. His reliability, warmth, and expertise have made him not just an employee, but a beloved member of our Cent'Anni family.

Segundo is originally from Ecuador, where he continues to support his family from afar while building a life here with his daughter and granddaughter in Queens. His dedication to both his work family and his biological family exemplifies the kind and caring person he is.

The Situation

Recently, Segundo began experiencing severe pain while walking that became too difficult to ignore. After seeking medical attention, doctors discovered a sarcoma (a type of tumor) in his thigh. He is currently hospitalized, waiting for additional tests to determine the best course of treatment. This diagnosis has turned his world (hopefully just momentarily) upside down. Not only is he facing a serious medical condition, but he's also unable to work during this critical time when he needs income the most.
