SUPPORT SEDA STUDENTS GET TO TENNANT CREEK
Donation protected
Each year Collingwood Football Club take trips up to Tennant Creek in the Barkley Region, about 5 hours from Alice Springs, to deliver coaching, promotion of AFL and education to rural communities and footy clubs.
In August, our group of students from the Magpies Sport and Business Program, will be taking this 5-day trip on behalf of Collingwood to deliver this program.
The benefits that this program brings are countless. It includes sport promotion for youth, opportunity to play a sport they love, access to equipment and coaching from SEDA students and staff. We hope to support the local communities and immerse ourselves in the experience, by assisting in community-based projects.
The funds we raise will go towards flights and accommodation, car hire to rural communities, sporting equipment for clubs to keep, and program development for further promotion of AFL.
We see the importance of this trip being a 2-way street. We understand the importance of building a strong connection with the people of Tennant Creek and look forward to devoting our time and resources during this experience and exposing ourselves to new environments.
Please donate whatever you can to help us get over to the NT and provide these communities with equipment and coaching and allow them to continue playing the sport they are so passionate about!
