Hey guys! I’m here to raise money to help Amber and Sebastian as they face some hard days ahead. 13 months ago Sebastian had his first episode of his lungs collapsing, a month later his second... This last April, 2024 was his third and he is currently in the middle of his 4th. That makes two on the right side, and two on the left side. This last collapse has been a little more complicated than the others, as the air leak is not resolving on its own despite having two chest tubes, continual high flow suction and 4 days in the hospital. Sebastian is headed into surgery in the near future to get a procedure done called (RATS) robotic assisted thoracic surgery where they will go in and staple the bleb that is leaking and remove his pleura from the top half of his left lung so the lung will build up scar tissue so the lung can stick to his chest wall. This will prevent this from ever happening on his left side again. Due to all of this, Sebastian has lost thousands of dollars in income, has to pay a large deductible for this surgery, and will lose more income as he heals. He has a family and a household to take care of and the peace of mind of a little financial help will help to get him through this healing process quicker.
