Hi, my name is Sebastián, and I’m raising funds to continue my studies in Christian Elementary Education at Hartland College, an institution dedicated to preparing missionaries for lives of service and mission; not necessarily by providing students with a formal degree, but by providing them with practical, Bible-based training to follow God into the mission field.

I was raised by my grandmother who is a woman of strong faith who taught me about God and did her best to guide me in a difficult home filled with dysfunction and economic struggles. Thanks to her, I came to know Christ and made the decision to dedicate my life fully to Him. I believe with all my heart that my calling is to be a missionary teacher, and I want to be trained to serve wherever God wants me, especially with children.

Unfortunately, I’m currently facing financial challenges that put my studies on hold. I need to cover tuition and government-related fees, and I have less than a month to raise around $6,000 to continue my training.

I have faith that the Lord can raise this money if it is His will, and I am praying that He does. But I also know that I'm supposed to pray like everything depends on God and work as though everything depends on my effort. This GoFundMe campaign is part of my attempt to fulfill the second half of that condition.
