Hi everyone,

Thank you so much for the love, support, and generosity you’ve already show, it’s carried us through some of the scariest moments we’ve ever faced as pet parents.

After multiple blockages and ANOTHER emergency vet visit last night, we’ve made the difficult but necessary decision to proceed with Perineal Urethrostomy (PU) surgery for our sweet Sebastian. This surgery is the best and most permanent solution to prevent future blockages, which are not only incredibly painful for him, but also life-threatening.

Our hearts are heavy with the emotional and financial weight of this decision, but we know this is the kindest and most proactive step we can take to protect Sebastian’s future. We’ve tried everything; diet changes, medications, stress management—but after several episodes, it’s clear that this is no longer manageable without surgery.

PU surgery has an incredibly high success rate, and most cats go on to live full, happy, healthy lives afterward. We’re hopeful that this will be Sebastian’s turning point, where the fear and constant emergency visits can finally come to an end.
