Overnight on Friday, Sebastian (son of Rey and Laura) was involved in a serious car accident that left him with devastating injuries to both legs.

He is currently at Harborview Medical Center, sedated and intubated, where he is receiving intensive care. Since arriving at Harborview, he has already received two emergency surgeries and in the days to come, he will need pins, rods, and plates in both of his tibias and femur. His left leg is particularly badly injured, and care will involve extensive work from both orthopedic and plastic surgery teams.

His family is taking things one day at a time, and is incredibly grateful that Sebastian is receiving the specialized care he needs. His recovery will be long, but he is surrounded by family and an incredibly qualified medical team.

We are asking our community for help during this extremely difficult time. There are many expenses coming, including medical bills, rehabilitation, time off work for him and his parents, renovations to their house for aftercare, transportation, meals, and beyond. Your support will help with all of these needs.
