Lily and I are saddened to share that our son Sean, who is 58, is facing his third battle with cancer. Many of you supported him during his first diagnosis, and your kindness meant the world to us. After two surgeries and rounds of chemotherapy and radiation, we were hopeful that the cancer would be stopped. Unfortunately, Sean has now been told that it has spread to his lung, and he must begin chemotherapy once again.
Sean lives four hours from Spokane, Washington, where he receives his treatment. Each week, he must make the long round trip for his appointments. His only income is from Social Security, which covers his basic household expenses but leaves little for the extra costs of travel, food, and housing during his time in Spokane. Lily and I, along with our family, have done everything we can to help, but we have now exhausted our resources.
We are reaching out to you, our friends and community, for support. Your generosity in the past made a real difference, and we are so grateful. Any help you can give now will go directly toward Sean’s travel, meals, and a place to stay during his treatment. Your support will give us hope and help Sean continue his fight against this disease. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for standing with us.
